Senior Leadership and Strategy to grow programming and capacity for workforce development and education programming including a state Civics Bee, a state-wide Workforce Portal focused on expanding internships, a remote work training program, and a long-term economic vision including sustained data for 34 economic vitals.
Center for Nonprofit Management.
Expert for Nonprofits Experiencing Leadership Transitions. Created a series of presentations and support for organizations looking to secure relationships, funding and reputation during a period of transition.
Long Beach Unified School District.
Philanthropic Strategy for private sector partnerships in support of Educare, a nationally recognized early education program embedded in the public school system. Project elements included hiring a new Director of Development, identifying potential funders, supporting introductions, grant writing and reporting.

ACCE Foundation - Strategic Planning.
Over the course of a 6 month period we developed clear priorities for the foundation, created boiler plate and language that resonated with various stakeholders and identified financial goals oriented at continued growth.
Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation – Development/Coaching.
Provide coaching and professional development to all director level leaders. The Chamber Foundation has 1-2 full-time fundraising staff but are dependent on working in partnership with program directors. Civic Allies Consulting set annual individualized development targets with director leaders and helped grow their strategic thinking and philanthropy skills to expand their programs.
UNITE-LA.
Several Projects including Strategic Advisor Building A New Business Network and supporting funding diversification strategy
Working alongside UNITE-LA’s executive team, Civic Allies Consulting developed the initial strategy, concept and research to launch an intentional business network focused on equity, education and workforce development.
Kentucky Chamber Foundation – Strategic Planning and ongoing Advising.
Led the Kentucky Chamber Foundation staff and board of directors through a strategic planning process which included goal setting, prospect identification, and relationship asset mapping. Since developing this strategic plan, Civic Allies Consulting has provided critical advice on relationship development, agenda setting, positioning and communications within the philanthropic community. This has included supporting the launch of a DEI Center, Opioid Response and significantly expanded Workforce Development team.
Maryland Chamber Foundation – Strategy and Capacity Building.
After an initial 3 month engagement focused on developing boiler plate and an annual fundraising plan for the Foundation – the Maryland Chamber Foundation continues to work with Civic Allies Consulting for external leadership/coaching support and re-orientation of communications for the philanthropic community.
Pathways LA – Development Strategy and Grantwriting.
Provide the Director of Development with advice on how to position Pathways LA within the philanthropic community. Identify early childhood education funders and circles of influence for the Director of Development and new CEO. Established plans for Board Growth and Development.
